Authorize.net Payment Gateway is Back Up and Running
Friday, July 3rd, 2009
Authorize.net was previously down as a result of a fire at its primary data center in Seattle. From the updates receive via their profile on Twitter (http://twitter.com/Authorizenet) it appears that their ops team has restored the payment processing services but has stated that things could be slow for a while.
During the AuthNet outage we switched all of client’s whom use AuthNet with Miva to use Credit Card Payment with Simple Validation. This allows Miva stores to continue to accept payments details in order to get processed manually when AuthNet is running.
Now that Authorize.net is back up we have deactivated credit card payment with simple validation in all of our Miva client’s admins and re-enabled the Authorize.net Miva module for usage.
If you have any questions regarding this outage please let us know.
Thank you.
